The world was thrown into chaos the day Androids 17 and 18 betrayed their maker and began a reign of sporadic terror that devastated over two-thirds of the world's population. A young girl battles with the guilt of feeling responsible for her father's death and dedicates her very being to doing what she can to save the world despite facing her mortality on more than one occasion. But her determination sparked confidence in a certain other individual... who may actually have the power to save this broken world. 

But what neither seemed to understand... was that this was never their responsibility to begin with.
